"Beruška" BENTE SCARE GREFINA reached in elimination run (490m) very good time but did not repeat it in final. Neither BECKIE (490m) nor KIRKE (277m) did not run well this time.
"Beruška" BENTE SCARE GREFINA was not defeated in Slovak. After she won Slovak Championship she won as well Slovak Derby. In final run (490m) she won by head.

On Sunday arrived small group of whippets. They could run as the owners wished and at the end we handed over small gifts from our sponsors.
Owners of adopted greyhounds watched already these races and they wondered quite a lot how interested were their dogs in it. Who was ready could run as well and they definitely did not regret. The eyes of all greyhounds beamed with joy.
Later we discussed many topics, mainly we all were glad and absorb all the information from Mr. Mika, CGRC president. I do not know any other person who knows more about greyhounds from practical as well as from theoretical point of view.
I got many news about background of greyhound adoption and about the activity of infamous Mrs. Miriè. She started with adoptions - in such scale - in Czech. Maybe she had pious plans in the beginning but anyway it was mainly based on her "prospectus". And it showed from very beginning - according to my opinion - some activities out of ethics code. During my phone call with this lady that time we simply did not match. It caused lot of emotions, I was the worst element on her web pages so I decided to to draw off. Later on I did not care about adoptions at all. It was high probably detrimental to the adopted greyhounds. In the mean time up to 200 adopted greyhounds appeared in Czech Republic but in fact some of them disappeared again. Only few people know their destiny. Maybe the dogs are well but very probably many owners has no idea how to care such dogs and they were not helped or told what to do.
Finally we went through many issues and our greyhound club wishes to continue such running, meetings and discussions. We all have one common - we love the greyhounds and we are happy to talk about it. The dogs can run here for fun and are glaring.
I hope that on September 12th when we have next race in Kresin and when we meet again even more adopted greyhounds will arrive here. You are welcome. About 1pm we will have short CDGK meeting where you are invited as well.

We repair and update our racetrack before new season starts. This time we were "forced" to install completelly new electrical installation because the old one was heavily damaged and almost fully stolen by an scrounger. New electrical installation was tested during last weekend so everything is prepared for Spring race. We are looking forward to seeing you again and we believe that we spend splendid day.
